Two managing directors of Henderson Insurance Brokers (HIBL), Paul Judge and Phil Davies, have both been promoted to the group executive board.
Judge will become executive development director for all companies within the Henderson Insurance Group. He led the company at the Leeds headquarters.
Davies will act as a staff representative on behalf of approximately 450 group employees in his new position. He was MD for HIBL Central Leeds.
HIBL chief executive officer Joe Henderson said: “This move reflects the commitment and drive demonstrated by Phil and Paul, and is a reward for the success they have both achieved.
“Having the right people is crucial in a service-led business like ours and I’m confident people such as Paul and Phil on our executive board will help to continue pushing a positive, client-driven culture across the group and its subsidiary businesses.”
Speaking of the promotion, Judge said he was “delighted to have been given this opportunity”.
Davies said, “To secure a position on the executive board so quickly is a real honour, particularly given that I have the opportunity to represent my colleagues and their needs.
“I believe my appointment also demonstrates the importance of our relatively new SME/Wholesale division to our clients and provides the potential to continue the fast-paced development of that area of the business.”
