For some veterans and seniors, new technology can be daunting. To help them, AT&T and New Horizons of Wisconsin hosted free technology training Friday in Appleton.
The seniors and veterans learned how to stay safe in today’s digital world, and showed seniors how to stay connected to family and friends with smartphones and tablets.
“While cell phones, smartphones and tablets have allowed us to stay connected with friends and family more than ever before, it can sometimes be challenging for some veterans and seniors to actually use this new technology,” said Patrick Riley, President of New Horizons of Wisconsin-Fox Cities.
